Why EVO Foot

The Evo Foot project represents an effort to broaden the available access to horse-riding in India by creating and promoting a low-cost horse footing system that can be easily installed and maintained in barns across North India. Evolving Footing serves as a low - cost replacement for standard synthetic turf. Good quality surface is vital for horse health and rider safety. Evolving Footing is designed specifically to improve surface strength and provide better traction, in addition to optimizing water retention in existing Indian ground.

This project involves a collaboration with a Soil Scientist cum Geo Technical Engineer Mr. Gupta, Foundtek Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, to develop a proprietary layering system. Key inputs were also provided by Mr. Filip Lacus (World Class Show Jumping Coach), Belgium, and Mr. Inderjeet Singh, Senior Coach, Army Polo and Riding Club (APRC), both of whom have expertise on construction of arenas.

This product has been shown to Mr. Inderjeet Singh, APRC. He is excited and is working on the feasibility of installation an arena at the Army Equestrian Center. Similar sentiment has been expressed by owners of private facilities.
